Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026 · Updated October 22, 2026
JobFigure is a software service operated by Strickland & Co. Software LLC (“Strickland & Co.,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use JobFigure at jobfigure.net and app.jobfigure.net (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text), plus your company name and role.
- Business information you enter: bids, jobs, customers and their contact details, crew members, hours, costs, change orders, invoices, quotes, notes, and your company logo and profile.
- Files you upload: receipt photos and bid documents you choose to upload.
- Location: only when a crew member clocks in or out, we record the device’s location at that moment to show whether they were at the jobsite. We do not track location continuously.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We receive your subscription status, plan, and billing history.
- Basic technical data: information your browser or device sends, such as device type and error logs, used to keep the Service working.
How we use it
- To provide the Service — storing and syncing your company’s data and showing it to the people in your company.
- To read documents you ask it to read: when you use AI bid import, receipt scanning, or spreadsheet import, the file’s contents are sent to our AI provider to extract the details, and the results are returned to you.
- To process your subscription and send billing-related emails.
- To provide support, keep the Service secure, and fix problems.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your business data for advertising.
Advertising measurement on jobfigure.net
Our public website, jobfigure.net, uses Microsoft Advertising’s measurement tag (UET) so we can tell whether our ads lead people to start a free trial. When you visit jobfigure.net, Microsoft may set cookies and receive information such as the pages you view, the ad you clicked, and when you click through to sign up. This helps us measure our advertising; Microsoft handles that information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The tag is not used inside the JobFigure app (app.jobfigure.net), and none of your business data is ever shared with advertisers. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the tag does not load. You can also opt out of personalized Microsoft ads at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings.
Who can see your data
Your company’s data is visible only to members of your company, according to the roles the owner assigns. We share information only with the service providers we use to run JobFigure, and only as needed:
- Supabase — database, file storage, and sign-in
- Netlify — website hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic — AI processing of documents you ask the Service to read
- Resend — sending emails from the Service, such as the daily digest
- Smartsheet — only if you connect your own Smartsheet account
The full list, and our data processing terms for business customers, are in our Data Processing Agreement.
Private links you create. If you create a TV dashboard link or a calendar link in the app, anyone who has that link can see the information it shows, without signing in. Shop TV links never include dollar amounts. When you add a calendar link to Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar, that calendar service copies the events it shows. You can turn any link off in Settings at any time.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
Where it’s stored
Your company’s data is stored by Supabase on Amazon Web Services servers in Canada. A working copy is also kept on each device you use JobFigure on, so the app works without a signal. The database is backed up automatically every day, and backups are kept for about a week.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If your subscription ends, your data is kept so you can pick up where you left off if you return. You can ask us to delete your company’s data at any time, and we will do so within 30 days, except where we must keep records (for example, billing records) by law.
Your choices
- Export your data from the app at any time.
- Correct or update your information in the app.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or to delete it by emailing us.
- Crew members can decline location access on their device; clock-ins will then be recorded without a location.
If you’re in the UK or Ireland
If your company is in the United Kingdom or Ireland, data protection law (the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, or the EU GDPR and Ireland’s Data Protection Act 2018) gives you extra rights over your personal information. Strickland & Co. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We use it to provide the Service you signed up for (performing our contract with you), to keep it secure and improve it (our legitimate interests), and to meet legal obligations.
- Your rights: you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email us and we’ll respond within one month.
- Where it goes: your company’s data is stored in Canada, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Some of our service providers (listed above) are in the United States; transfers to them rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
- Your company’s data about others: when you enter details about your own customers or crew, your company decides what is collected and why, and we handle it on your behalf to run the Service.
- Complaints: please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) in Ireland.
If you’re in Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
We handle your personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Australia’s Privacy Act 1988, and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020, as they apply to us. You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca), the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), or New Zealand’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz). Your company’s data is stored in Canada.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to your company’s members, and payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of any breach as required by law.
Children
JobFigure is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and let account owners know by email or in the app.
