What is job costing?
Job costing means tracking every euro of labour, materials, and expenses against the job it belongs to, so you know whether each job actually made money. JobFigure does it as you work: crew hours post when your crew clocks out, and receipts post when you snap them.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. JobFigure runs on any phone, tablet, or computer. Open app.jobfigure.net and tap “Add to Home Screen” in your browser’s menu. It opens like an app and keeps working without a signal.
Does JobFigure replace Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks?
No. Keep Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks for your books, VAT, and tax. JobFigure is for running jobs in the field: bids, crew time, job costs, and profit on each job. You can bring existing jobs and customers in from a Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks export.
How does the free trial work?
Pick a plan and enter a card to start. You get the full app free for 14 days. If you don’t cancel, your first payment is charged on day 15. Cancel before then and you’re never charged.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in the app under Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Any trade — groundworks, flooring, electrical, joinery, heating, roofing, and more. JobFigure comes set up for 47 trades, with the right cost categories and units for each.
Can I bring in my existing jobs?
Yes. Export your sheet from Excel, Xero, Sage,, QuickBooks, Smartsheet, or Google Sheets and upload it. JobFigure matches your columns to jobs, bids, customers, or crew, and you check the matches before anything saves. Any size works, and anything already in JobFigure is skipped. Step-by-step guide.
Is my data safe? Is it backed up?
Yes. Your data is stored in an encrypted cloud database run by providers with independent SOC 2 audits, and it’s backed up automatically every day. We test restoring those backups, too. Only your company can see it, and it’s never sold. You can also download your own backup any time. Payments go through Stripe, so your card number never touches JobFigure. More on security.
Does it work with Outlook or Google Calendar?
Yes. Add JobFigure to Outlook and Microsoft 365, Google Calendar, or your iPhone calendar with a private link from Settings. Bid due dates, follow-ups, and job start and finish dates show up in your calendar and update every few hours.
Can I put JobFigure on a TV?
Yes. Open app.jobfigure.net/tv on any TV’s web browser and enter the code it shows in Settings → TV dashboard. Choose the office view, with money and margins, or the shop view, which never shows money. It’s included on every plan.
